Services We Provide

Valuable Peer Support

Support meetings bring together parents and families who are dealing with the same emotions, some joyful and some painful, that you may be experiencing. Joining the ASLC allows you to share with and learn from others.

Local Information and Referral

The Autism Society of Larimer County (ASLC) responds daily to requests for information. Our Information and Referral Line, 970-377-9640, receives more than 100 calls a month. We maintain a resource list of services that have been recommended by families and professionals. Volunteers who have gained experience and knowledge regarding your local school systems, doctors, and other service providers are part of the ASLC membership. By joining the ASLC, you can gain this same knowledge through chapter meetings and discussions with other chapter members.

Social Opportunities for your Child

The ASLC provides our quarterly autism-friendly birthday party. Three times a year for a one time free of $5 per ASLC member family (yes you read that right $5/family) we supply pizza, cake, gift bags and a bouncing great time at our local Pump It Up! Each registered child receives an invitation to the party. When your child's birthday comes around he or she will be honored at that quarters event - Pump It Up Birthday Club

Local Newsletter

The ASLC publishes a quarterly newsletter, which outlines local regulations, information, events and activities sponsored by the chapter and local community as well as stories about chapter members.

Local Workshops and Seminars

The ASLC seeks to provide workshops and seminars on a wide range of issues, bringing in nationally known speakers or local professionals. Members also receive discounts on these events.
