SOCIAL INTEGRATION VOLUNTEERS

ASLC will be re-booting their Social Integration Group (SIG) a place where children, adolescence, and adults with autism are will develop and refine their social skills and while making lasting friendships. ASLC is looking for people who can commit themselves and assist during these evening events. The SIG will be a six-week program meeting at 4pm-5pm for younger ages and 7pm-8pm for adolescence and adults. There will be additional SIG events throughout the year. EVENT VOLUNTEERS

ASLC is also looking for people who can dedicate their time to fund raising events, whether it is handing out water on a fun run or spending an hour or two at a community garage sale. The money raised through fundraiser will be used to educate newly diagnosed parents about Autism, as well as the medical and school communities. New and Different fundraiser ideas are always appreciated.
 

EDUCATIONAL/RECREATIONAL VOLUNTEERS AND COMMUNITY SPONSORS

Another available volunteer opportunity will be assisting with the fun, stimulating, and educational events ASLC would like to provide throughout the year. ASLC is looking for organizations that would be willing to donate their time and products to allow individuals with autism a chance to experience adventure, explore nature and support them in their quest for developing healthy, recreational life skills. Some examples: Canoeing, Horseback Riding, Paddle Boating, Hiking, Snow shoeing etc.
